In China, we have many traditional festivals, such as the Spring Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival，the Dragon Boat Festival and so on. Chinese people usually have special food and do different things on these festival days.
During the Spring Festival, people usually eat dumplings and have a big family get-together. They sometimes have fireworks and watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV. The Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for families to get together and have mooncakes. Dragon Boat Festival is in May or June every year, and people eat zongzi and race dragon boats.
Do you know how people celebrate Christmas?
Most people in Western countries celebrate Christmas from December 24th to 25th. People usually have a Christmas tree in their house and decorate it with tinsel, lights, and ornaments. The children hang up empty stockings and hope to get presents from Santa Claus.
